The Cantilena Chamber Choir will present a 90th ANNIVERSARY BENEFIT CONCERT (TWO PERFORMANCES!) in the barn at Pleasant Valley of nature inspired music from Renaissance to modern. The selections will feature music by Janequin, Josquin, Mendelssohn and Samuel Barber, with special presentations of new works by composers Gregory Brown and James Kallembach on texts by John James Audubon. Listen to birds, frogs, crickets and more outside and inside on Saturday October 19th with a repeat performance on Sunday, October 20th, at 3:00pm.
Seating is limited to the first 50 patrons for each concert, $35 general admission, $25 for Mass Audubon members. The Berkshire sanctuary in Lenox is located at 472 West Mountain Rd.
